Claret jug or wine ewer, London, 1872, Barnard, plain silver

🇬🇧Superb Victorian style wine ewer in silver. This ewer was made in London in 1872. Hallmarks of London and the master silversmith but the latter is difficult to read, on the base of the spout. The body and the handle are richly decorated with a magnificent decoration of foliage. Very nice work. The body of the decanter is engraved with a cartouche with interlocking initials "EM". Total weight: 545 grams

🇫🇷Superbe aiguière à vin de style Victorien en argent. Cette verseuse  a été fabriqué à Londres en 1872. 
Poinçons de Londres et d'un maître orfèvre mais ce dernier est difficilement lisible, sur la base du bec verseur. Le corps et l'anse sont richement décorés par un magnfique décor de feuillages .Très beau travail. Le corps de l'aiguière est gravé d'une cartouche avec des initiales entrelacées "EM".  Poids total: 545 grammes

🇳🇱Schitterende wijnkan of waterkan in zilver. Deze Victoriaanse kan is gemaakt in Londen in 1872. Keurmerken van Londen en van de meester zilversmid, maar deze laatste is moeilijk te lezen, op de basis van de tuit. De kan en het handvat zijn rijkelijk gedecoreerd met een prachtige versiering van gebladerte. Zeer mooi werk. Het  is gegraveerd met een cartouche met "EM" initialen. Totaal gewicht: 545 gram
